Snap Shot 5 My Sister from another mister Bonnie by Cam K.

Let me introduce you to Bonnie Welsh she was born  January, 14th 1997. Bonnie is 18 years old she is currently a Freshman at The Ohio State University of Marion. Bonnie attended Bucyrus Redmen high school she played volleyball and was part of the marching band while she attended high school. She just recently graduated in May of 2015.

When about how do you use imagination in your daily life, Bonnie responded by saying that imagination is a form of  "dreaming just like when you dream at night but your not fully functioning".  When I asked Bonnie  what color best describes your personality? and why? She said "Red" because Red is color of power, love, and Farmall tractors. I know nothing about tractors so that kind of threw me for a loop. Bonnie is most passionate about her family because they are always there for her and always lead her in the right direction and help her know right from wrong. Being creative for Bonnie comes from family because she says that if your family is creative then there is a chance that they will pass the creative gene on too you. Bonnie's father helped  her as a kid to become creative because he was always there and he is a handy man and can look at a piece of scrap metal and make anything out of it just by studying it for a little bit.

Snapshot 5 Zach Wiseman

Mike Lohre describes himself as the the light blue color, being even tempered and peaceful with a laid back personality. Mike explains "you need to keep things new and not get caught in the rot" and  he wants to keep growing as a person and defines imagination as " getting passed what is obvious and getting outside conventional thinking". Mike originates from a rural farming background in Minnesota. Mike learned to love writing at at a young age. Reading comic books and fiction novels was frowned upon by his father, who only having a 3rd grade education, thought it useless to read. Instead of hiding away liquor and packs of cigarettes as his form of rebellion was sneaking and hiding books, novels like; Tarzan , John Carter and copies of Marvel comics like Luke Cage and the Fantastic Four .He came to Ohio to pursue a college education at The Ohio State University, receiving scholarships in fiction and poetry, being inspired by reading and writing at a young age, saying  " I learned to enjoy language through poetry" that he still uses today. Mike Lohre uses what he was passionate about at a young age and now being a English professor at The University at Ohio State at Marion ,and in my opinon expresses qualities of and eccentric person.

Snapshot 5 Bonnie Welsh Creativity of Cam

When interviewing Cam, he was asked various questions about where is creativity. He seemed that he really didn't know what his best ability was but he told music was his best ability because he was in band, "so playing instruments has always been easy for me." He thinks that he will try to use music in his history teaching career, but he does not see him using it too much in the daily school day. When asked what he is most passionate about his response was his child, a six year old boy, without a doubt. When he was asked about who ask a child helped him become more creative Cam really hasn't thought about that too much, after a while of thinking about it he said that his grandfather was who helped him be creative.
When asked about the color that best describes him he said right away Black. He said this because "everyone always is saying that I have a darker side to me" that is the darkest color that there is. Cam is a very outgoing person, funny person, and a great person to be around.
This is a picture of Cam and I. He is a very outgoing and fun person.

Snapshot 5. Kayla Frea.

Noel is contemplating about life.
Sarcastic, diabolical and creative individual. Noel, is a freshmen at The Ohio State University, studying criminology. Working at the Columbus Zoo, in her free time. Her favorite movie star is George Clooney. She loves listening to Twenty One Pilots, and Beartooth. Through drawings, and music, she let's her creativity shine through.

Defining creativity is different and eccentric for many people. Noel's definition for creativity is, "Coming up with your own ideas, using your mind in more than one way." The inspiration, for her drawings are leaders like Gandhi. Noel also finds inspiration in her surroundings and experiences in her life. Her sarcastic humor comes though in the interview when asked who is the most creative person she knows, and she replied with, "Kayla Frea"
Noel's drawing of Gandhi.
Noel finds creativity comes hard to her. She finds creativity to come better when she has to be creative for a project for school or under stress. The most creative work Noel has done is, she painted murals on walls. She did this project with her church group when they did these murals.

Snapshot 5 Paul Winters

Paul Winters is 19 and his major is communications which is very fitting. Paul's artistic and creative ability would be writing and provoking people to think in ways that influence them. Paul believes that "if you can hold it in your mind then you can hold it in your hand" and keeps that in his everyday life. Also being creative is a gift that we were given since we were made in the image of God and is one of our desires to become and do great things. As a kid faith and knowing that everything that we ever want is already here if not in one form or another, we just need to become aware of it has helped him become creative. Paul defines imagination as "one of the most un-comprehendable faculties we have and it has the power to overcome any situation". Paul's number one role model to solve problems creatively would be Bob Proctor because he grew up in the depression and still has made it to the top. That Negative circumstances don't matter because its all in the mind. Paul honestly surprised me with his idea on imagination and life in general. Although his thoughts are way more complicated than mine, we have a lot of the same ideas. He's very nice and is easy to make friends with because he loves to talk to people.
Good friend Paul Winters deep in thought as I ask for his view of role models and the meaning of imagination. He took a year off after high school before coming to OSUM because he didn't know what he wanted to do and wanted to "be creative"

Snapshot Five about Tristen Stover by: Daniel Scheiderer

Outgoing, happy, and very bright is what you would say to describe Tristen Stover. When Miss Stover was asked what color best describes your personality and why? she answered with "Yellow! Yellow is a very bright color and people that like the color are happy and you always see yellow on happy things and I always try to be a happy person." As the interview went on I asked her about what helped her as a kid to become creative and her response was great, she said "Drawing and coloring in coloring books helped me because I could do whatever I wanted to do with the picture I was drawing or coloring." During the interview Tristen was very excited to talk and very happy that someone was showing interest in her.  She told me that her mother is where she gets her creativity from, her mom is very artistic and outgoing as she described. Her definition of imagination is coming up with ideas and creative things that are outside the box and no one has really thought of. When asked what her best artistic or creative ability were she responded with that she comes up with original ideas, they might not be the best ideas but they are still hers.  Miss Stover is very unique in what she does, wears and says. You can tell there is creativity there when you meet her. She is very unique in everything she does.
Tristen, very excited to be in english class with all of her friends

Snapshot Five- A short profile: Creativity and Daniel Scheiderer

Daniel is outgoing, interested in fashion, and is very energetic. Daniel also loves to talk to people and is usually always smiling. Being happy in life is key. Daniel is definitely easy to pick out of the crowd! Daniel loves having and buying new shoes. In a sense, he loves fashion all because of shoes. I interviewed Daniel because I wanted to explore how and where creativity affected his life. I wanted to know what creativity meant to him and how it works in his life. Daniels best artistic or creative ability was pretty interesting. He stated that he "Thinks out of the box and comes up with his own creative and interesting ideas." Daniel usually always talks about interesting ideas in class and explains them. Daniel likes to do his own things and come up with his own ideas but also he loves to make new friends and hang out with people. He likes listening to other people’s ideas. Daniel uses imagination in his daily life in a way in which he thinks of ways to have fun so that he is not bored and not doing anything. Daniel is definitely very active and loves being athletic. Daniel has always been a part of some type of sport. Also, Daniel uses creativity to help him become successful in a different way than others might. He stated that he will be "involved in fashion". On the other hand, Daniel's definition of imagination was that it is when he comes up with new ideas that are creative and original. Daniel was helped by a kid to become creative by his parents and his teachers. He said that they let him express how he felt no matter what the situation was.

This is Daniel in English class.

Snapshot 5: TIM DAVIS the awakening creative, man, myth, and legend

Tim Davis is an awakening to the world of creativity. As he is choosing he is choosing his major and deciding what Path he want to take in life. He started out wanting to be a firefighter and has since realized that there is a lot out there and has started using his creativity to find out what he is passionate about. Davis now wants to explore the options of construction management.
In his younger years when injured Davis had to use his creative faculty to scheme up ways to recover properly from injuries from sports. The therapists didn’t even know how to help him recover and he had to go about it his own way ensuring that he made a good recovery by making up his own routines and finding out what works.
Davis describes his passion in being involved with working with people. “That is why I love landscaping, it is about the people and it is about talking to them even after you are done.” Davis said.
When thinking about what is a hindrance to creativity in society Davis explains that he believes that we base all of our creativity off of other people and we always want to be someone else when we need to just be ourselves.
Davis has a source of inspiration and that source is his mom. “She is a miracle worker,” Davis says “If you are trying to get somewhere or doing something that you want to do, when you don’t make it, it helps you find a way that does work to get to where you want to go. she has always found a way to make it happen. Despite what is holding you back from getting to where you want to go.

Freshman Tim Davis smiles majestically into the distance as he excited for english 1109.  Davis hopes to pursue a career in construction management upon graduating.

Snapshot five- Kayla 101 (Noel)

Kayla's ideas come from other artists but also she tries to push her limit. Coming up with new ideas to bring to life. Testing on herself and her friends. Kayla's perky and happy attitude is clearly expressed in her ideas and projects.

She's cute. She's adorable... She's Kayla!
Kayla is a young aspiring freshman at OSU Marion, looking to become nurse. Kayla enjoys riding her horse Lance, a quarter horse. Kayla enjoys spending time with her family and friends and takes time to breathe. Kayla has a studio in her basement for her photography and she also has a giant stoplight in there as well. Kayla really likes doing zombie themed photo shoots and makeup.
As above she has a huge interest in photography and makeup.
Kayla shows her creativity through her music and photography. Throughout the years she has been inspired by the people around her, music, movies and other people's ideas. Through photography she has been able to become creative from showing different people's perspectives and personalities. Creativity has shaped her in many different ways by making her think about her surroundings and how she is feeling. Something Kayla is most proud of is her photography and her photo journal idea book. In the book she puts a lot of potential ideas for photo shoots or makeup designs. She lives with the idea to not live in fear and think outside of the box.

Snapshot 5 Pernale Blake's Creativity by Lexia Wilson

Pernale Blake has just started college this fall and is studying education and sports management but when he started he was planning on studying nursing but that changed. One day he is going to choose a job that will be fun and that he can enjoy one day. Having a job in education would be very entertaining because he will get to see those students succeed. By also studying sports management he will be able to become a high school football coach and continue his passion for football. I asked Pernale what he could do everyday and never get bored with...what is he most passionate about? He said football. Football has always been there for him and it has become his inspiration to become creative. Pernale also has become creative and been able to use his imagination through his parents because they always pushed him to do anything he wanted to do in life. I also asked Pernale how have you reached a goal only because you got creative? Tell me a story? He said that one time the rope netting on his basketball hoop broke and he needed to find a way to fix it. So he thought about it and then he came up with an idea on how to fix it. He used some yarn to create a new net and it worked. Who has been your role model for solving problems creatively and he said "Katy Perry she's an inspiration to me and everyone". The final question that I asked Pernale was what color describes you best? His answer was blue. "Blue is a color that makes me happy and I believe that I am a happy person".

Snapshot Five-- A short profile: Creativity From Pernale Blake

 Lets Talk About Lexia Wilson
Bright, outgoing, and fun are all qualities you want in a person. Lexia Wilson is much more than what meets the eye. When Lexia is not getting A's in English she is most likely out being young. You can find her at your nearest bowling alley, as she has been know to be extremely good. Lexia talked about how bowling is how she expresses herself, and the bowling alley is where she does most of her thinking. She claims to spend a numerous amount of time there, and brags that that is why she is so creative. So I wanted to know her opinion on where creativity came from. So I asked her "Where does being creative come from, in your view?" and she responded "My creativity come from my dad. He would always draw and I would want to be just like him." The reason why Lexia is creative is a result of how creative her dad was. Because her dad was so creative with his drawings, Lexia was lucky enough to inherited her fathers creativity.

Orange! Orange! Orange! If you ask Lexia Wilson what her favorite color is she will say "Orange... because I believe that I am a very bright and outgoing person." I agree that Lexia is a bright and outgoing person. Lexia's dream is to become a doctor, and believes that being creative will help her reach that dream. For example, like finding new ways to cure and prevent diseases. She would never have been able to be as creative as she is today without her grandmother.  She said that her grandmother was what helped her as a kid become creative because she was also very creative, and she always pushed her to be creative in everything she did.

Uprising Freshman Lexia Wilson after some persuasion finally poses for a quick photo.

Snap Shot 5: Brittney Hanks

                     Welcome Morgan’s  World

B flat, A flat, F flat key, when she's not playing, she creative you see. When she isn't in class, she is either with her family and friends or out at the barn with her horse. Morgan is going to college for Animal Science. Morgan has been playing the cello for 10 years, so I asked her, have you ever been able to be creative with music? She smiled and responded with, "yes in a way, I feel that there’s a way to make a piece of music your own and really make it come alive from within yourself! Without creativity with music, music just be simple boring notes, creativity IS MUSIC and that’s the beauty of it." Morgan has been able to be creative by being able to go out and play her cello with her family or in high school with Hayes players. She has been outstanding musician.

Splash of pink, splat of pink, everything is pink in the Kuehl household you see. Even though that's true in the aspect of the people under one roof, one guy, four girls......a poor guy. When you think Pink you think really bright and upbeat and a happy color. Pink describes Morgan and her horse to the tee. It’s not just a horse’s favorite color ,it’s also one of her favorite colors. Morgan is a very outgoing and happy go lucky person. The one person that is a Morgan shine is her dad. Seems like he is the man with the plan, the dad that will get you out of any situation. Morgan seems to be very tight with her family and that she will do anything for them. Morgan is pictured a lot with her sisters Ryan and Taylor, they seem to be doing a lot of activities together.

As a child Morgan had the biggest imagination that any child could have. As she describes “I use my imagination all the time! I’m a huge day dreamer, also when I listen to music my mind like to wander off and just go into what I call “Morgan’s world” it’s great there.” Morgan’s world had many little clubs that her and her old neighbor would come up with like the moose club. Morgan has a big heart for animals other then her horse, she has always grew up with her dogs. Morgan has a big heart for animals and you can see how passionate about animals when she talks about her animals that impacted her life.
Sassy,outgoing , crazy, person

As a freshman at OSU Brittney is not only a busy student but she is also dedicated to and enjoys her swimming instructor and life guard job at the local YMCA. Brittney loves kids and plans to pursue a career in education, and says her creative side will help her teach her students in new ways.

In her limited free time Brittney loves to craft ! She's like a walking Pinterest page ! With her creativity skills she makes wreaths and she knows how to dress up or decorate almost anything. When asked what color best described her she said, "Yellow, Yellow is a bright color and also my favorite color !I love being the light in peoples day and making others happy every chance I get". This folks is as true as it gets, with a bubbly personality and kind heart Brittney makes a gloomy day shine.

Family first, is something Brittney will always stand by. She comes from a large family and she is the oldest sibling and the ultimate role model. Brittney is especially close with her little sister and wants to be the best and most supportive big sister ever "the big sister that never misses a thing and supports my family in every way!" as she describes it.

Everyone has there own way of dealing with stress; some people abuse drugs, or they abuse alcohol, and others exercise. The way I cope with stress is by listening to music. Music is so vital to survival, everyone would go mad without it. Most people have a known favorite musician that they love and cherish, and every time they listen to that so called musician the stress, anger, it all goes away immediately. For me this would be A$ap Rocky. Most people find him to be to ruthless, or rude, or degrading to mankind, but those people take his lyrics too literally. When I listen to him, it is music to my ears. A$ap Rocky grew up in New York City without a father, or a mother, and he raps a lot about that. My favorite thing about A$ap Rocky is his confidence while rapping, he often times refers to himself as the best, the king of rap, or as a god. One of my favorite songs by A$ap Rocky is “Lord Pretty Flacko Jodye 2”, in this song he talks about how he hangs out with a bunch of models and that they were all of is expensive gold chains. Also how he has too much money to handle, and if you mess with his on the street him and all of his crew will teach you a lesson. I know that A$ap’s music does not have the best influence on me or anyone else, but his music gives me confidence. I used to listen to him before footballs games to give me confidence and to pump me up for the game. He is an inspiration to me, and whether he knows it or not, has help me survive through some tough times.

Snapshot 4: From Paul Winters

Music and poems mean to me that there is something more out there. It it just shows how limitless things are there is no limit to the amount of love we can feel or happiness it is limitless and that is so hard to comprehend. Music and poetry are things that bring our attention to the limitlessness as we feel things we may not even be able to describe and go to a state of mind that would have been very hard to achieve if we would have not used the poetry or music.

The musician I picked was Claude Debussy. He is a composer that was in france 1962-1918. He had a piece called claire de lune. Although there are no words in the piece the music was supposed to capture what it feels like to capture in the moonlight. What does moonlight feel like? That is an odd question but the music bring about an unforgettable feeling. It is so crazy to have no words and to just feel. I can remember being in kindergarten listening to it and had no idea what it was. It would pop into my head years later and it would drive me crazy because I did not know what it was called with no words. How do I make up a song title with no words and from so long ago?! It was so frustrating to me and just over the summer I ran across it in a section in a movie and I looked up the songs in the movie and at last I was finally in touch with the song. There is nothing like sitting outside on a clear night and feeling the timeless of the song and feeling long after I am gone this will all be here it has such an odd sense of eternity that I can’t even grasp. When I listen to it I am timeless.

This is Claude Debussy composer of Claire de Lune. I love that long after he is gone his music can still be played and have impact on people's lives.
